Here are the basics

You’ll paddle by day and camp along the river by night. Most often we camp on gorgeous sandbars. 

Our trips are small in size, around 10 - 20 people, so you can have an intimate nature experience. 

Our trips typically run on the weekends. Friday to Sunday for 3-day trips and Saturday to Sunday for 2-day trips. 

We encourage people to bring their own boats and basic camping gear.

We have a gear boat that will haul all the gear you can’t fit in your own boat. 

We will provide and cook all the food and there will be plenty of it. We provide all the water you need and will have plenty of ice and cooler space, so you can bing your own tasty beverages. 

We’ll run the shuttle and organize all the logistics

This is a remote nature experience, so prepare to go without electricity and plumbing for a few days.  

Eastern River Expeditions is owned and operated by husband and wife team Mike and Cassidy Lord. They have a combined 8 years of experience leading commercial wilderness river expeditions. Mike and Cassidy will be your guides on all Eastern River Expedition trips and they know how to put on a good trip for all experience levels. Trips and Prices

We plan to run sections of both the Oconee and Ocmulgee Rivers during the 2019 season. 

3-day / 2-night trips : $300

2-day / 1-night trips : $200
